Recognizing that strong, healthy families are critical to the success of our local communities, CAI lends a helping hand to those families who face difficult challenges.
CAI and Easterseals have a longstanding partnership. For over 20 years CAI has served as the title sponsor for Eastern Pennsylvania’s Mary Ellen Golf Tournament raising in excess of $1.5 million. CAI is also proud to serve as the title sponsor for Easterseals Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore, Easterseals-CAI Volleyball Tournament. Our Delaware office has served in this capacity for well over a decade raising in excess of $5 million. These urgently needed dollars fund services for children and adults with disabilities including individuals on the Autism spectrum.
CAI is committed to ensuring families in need, and particularly children, receive gifts during the holiday season. To this end our CAI Cares chapters work with Salvation Army, Catholic Charities and other local community service organizations to brighten the lives of others.
One way we support families in need is through our commitment to hold Community Drives. These drives are held in each of our major geographies and address the basic needs of families in need.
Our major geographies hold onsite blood drives 2 to 4 times annually.
Recognizing that food insecurity touches many people across our communities, CAI Cares chapters hold food drives for local food banks.
Through our clothing drives we collect coats, hats and mittens for school age children and gently used clothing for local shelters.
In keeping with our Education priority, we regularly collect backpacks, books and other school supplies for inner city children and their classrooms.
