• One business community working together to ensure a better life for those with disabilities
  • A 26 year partnership forged by CAI’s President & CEO, Tony Salvaggio
  • Over 5000 hours of volunteer service
Mary Ellen Gasdaska was born in 1954 with spina bifida. When she was two years old, her parents, Bill and Eleanor, turned to Easter Seals Eastern PA for help. In appreciation for everything Easter Seals did for Mary Ellen, Bill and three of his friends — Lou Mutarelli, Tony Esposito and John Puchalla — decided to hold a golf tournament with all the proceeds benefiting Easter Seals Eastern PA. Forty-six years later, this incredible event has made it possible to provide programs and services for local children living with autism and disabilities. Some of the programs and services we provide are therapy, camping and recreation, family support and so much more. Tony Salvaggio, CAI's CEO, has been the Community Chair over the past 26 years and supplies over 20 associate volunteers each year for the event.
